Winx in Prime Position to Extend Win Streak

WINX has drawn ideally in barrier three as she chases her 19th-consecutive win in Saturday’s Chelmsford Stakes at Randwick.
The champion mare was one of 12 horses to accept for the 1600m Group 2 feature on Wednesday.
Foxplay, who ran second to Winx in the Warwick Stakes earlier this month, did not accept.
Trainer Chris Waller said Winx has bounced through her first-up Warwick Stakes win in super fashion despite the great mare having to put out all stops to win after missing the start by four lengths.
The Chelmsford Stakes is Race 7 on the Randwick program and will be run at 3.50pm.
